1. Scope
This Policy applies to visitors and registered Creators and Brands on Creonnect, including anyone who connects an Instagram Business or Creator account through Meta's official OAuth.
2. Information we collect
Account information — name, email, phone, role, profile details, and password (stored as a hash only).
Payment and KYC information — where needed for payouts, identity and payment details processed through Razorpay. KYC data is encrypted and not shared with other users.
Instagram / Meta Platform Data — when you connect Instagram, we access profile, media, insights, and messaging data made available through Meta's official APIs to provide analytics, presence, Auto DM, and related features. We do not collect Instagram passwords.
Usage data — IP address, browser type, logs, and session tokens needed to operate and secure the Services.
Brand workspace data — campaign briefs, communications, and collaboration records for brand accounts.

4. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the Services, run analytics and collaborations, process payments, prevent abuse, comply with law and Meta Platform Terms, and communicate with you about the Services.
5. AI Studio
AI Studio is optional and off by default. If enabled, content you submit may be sent to our AI provider (currently OpenAI) only to generate the output you request. Outputs may be inaccurate — review them before use. AI Studio is not professional advice.
AI prompts, uploaded files, and generated outputs are retained only for the period necessary to provide the Service, troubleshoot issues, comply with legal obligations, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. We do not use them to train third-party models without your consent.
6. Auto DM
If you use Auto DM, messages are sent only through Meta's official API, only for automations you configure, within Meta's rate limits and 24-hour window. Opt-out keywords such as STOP and UNSUBSCRIBE are honoured immediately.
7. Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate Creonnect (hosting, payments, AI processing where enabled), with Meta as required for Instagram connections, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information or Meta Platform Data.
8. Retention
- Account data — while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure.
- Meta Platform Data — deleted within 30 days of disconnection or a verified deletion request.
- Payment and tax records — as required by applicable law.
- Auto DM and security logs — up to 12 months, unless longer retention is required.

9. Security and cookies
We use technical and organisational safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive data. No system is perfectly secure.
We use essential cookies and local storage for sign-in and preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent by writing to hello@creonnect.com.
11. Meta compliance
Creonnect uses official Meta APIs only. You may disconnect Instagram from Creonnect account settings or from Instagram → Settings and privacy → Apps and websites. We do not sell Meta Platform Data or use it for off-platform advertising.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where required.
