1. Delete your Creonnect account
- Sign in at
https://www.creonnect.com. - Open Settings → Account.
- Select Delete Account and confirm.
If the in-app option is unavailable, email hello@creonnect.com with subject Data Deletion Request and include the email address on your account.
2. Revoke Instagram access
From Instagram: Profile → Settings and privacy → Apps and websites → Creonnect → Remove.
From Creonnect: Sign in → Connections → Disconnect next to Instagram.
This stops future syncs and disables Auto DM immediately.
3. Identity verification
Before processing a deletion request, Creonnect may require reasonable verification of the requester's identity to prevent unauthorized deletion of user accounts. We typically verify through the email address registered on your account.
4. What we delete
After a verified request, we delete your profile, connected Instagram data obtained through Meta's APIs, Auto DM settings and logs, and other account data in our production systems within 30 days.
5. What we may retain
We may retain invoices, tax records, fraud-prevention records, and other information where required by law. Aggregated analytics that cannot identify you may be retained.
Backup copies are removed in the ordinary course, generally within 90 days.
6. Confirmation and escalation
We aim to acknowledge requests within 72 hours and complete deletion within 30 days. You will receive confirmation by email when complete.
